We took the 7am ferry to Misamis Oriental from Camiguin. It was roughly an hour and a half minutes. From the port, we hired a van to take us to Cagayan De Oro (1 hour travel time) and tour us around the city.

Camiguin is located in the northern part of Mindanao and was formerly a part of Misamis Oriental. The name of the island came from the Spanish word, Kamagong, a tree abundant in the area where the Manobos lived.

Wawa Dam is just one ride away from Cubao. With a route from Cubao to Rodriguez, Rizal (formerly known as Montalban), Sitio Wawa holds two caves, namely, Pamitinan Cave and the Bat Cave, the mountain peaks of Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binacayan, and the famous Wawa Dam.
